Come and learn the basics of doing group (and family) play therapy and how you can use it in your practice, in schools and community groups. You can begin doing it right away and see the POWER OF THE GROUP! This playshop will be interactive and fun so come prepared to play and have your questions answered.
Jeannie Teleia has been a play therapist her whole life but didn’t know it until she discovered a whole profession devoted to it. She got her play therapy training at the beginning of the millennium and hasn’t looked back since! She has had her own private practice at her home office for the past 5 years and has been running groups there for the past 2 years. She has facilitated or participated in groups, individual, child and family therapy for over 20 years. She currently facilitates Adults Molested As Children groups for women and ADHD/Social Skills group for children because there is a need in the community. You can fulfill this need also and get started by coming to the playshop.
